"A Moveable Feast: European Art Between the Wars," Nassau County Museum of Art, Roslyn Harbor, NY. May 9 – August 15, 2004. Explores how the debacle of World War I spurred artistic revolt from traditional constraint, prompting the initiation of new visual languages.

"A Secret History of Clay: From Gauguin to Gormley," Tate Liverpool, England. May 28 – August 20, 2004. Presents artists who have worked in clay from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day.


Alexandra Keiser will present a paper on the sculptor Gela Forster, Alexander Archipenko’s first wife, at the Dorich House conference, Kingston University, Kingston Upon Thames, London, England. May 13 and 14, 2004.
